Dec. 16 2009 ~ Lost Camera ~

My camera finally showed up!












I seem to have misplaced my camera so I'll be posting todays pictures when it shows up again.
We had a good day. This morning we colored bells for a wall display, read some Christmas stories, sang some Christmas songs, did finger plays, practiced the alphabet, and watched 10 minutes of a Thomas the Tank Engine video.



Breakfast- Chopped Beef Gravy on Toast, Cereal, Bananas, Milk
Lunch- Chicken Nuggets,Potatoes cooked with butter salt and pepper, Corn, Butter Bread, Milk
Snack- Cheez-It Party Mix, Berry Juice

Singing, Helping Others and Playing Outside

Singing "Jingle bells, jingle bells..."

One of the 'big girls' helping (by her own choice) a smaller girl with shoes and socks so we can go outside.


Now smaller girl gives 'big girl' a wagon ride. Was that repayment for the help with the shoes and socks?

"This ice is cold!" (She has a chunk of snow in her hand left-over from someones snowman.

The Cupcake Ornament On The Christmas Tree

There was a big fascination with the cupcake ornament on the tree.


It inspired a christmas tree story ...

that went on....
and on...

and on.

Just a Laid Back Kind of Thursday

He was so tired he could hardly wait for lunch to be over so he could...

get on his bed. He was fast asleep in no time!

Today we played a lot, read books, and sang Christmas songs. We finally got our Christmas Tree Mobile finished and they were all so proud of themselves! They couldn't wait to "show mommy and daddy"!

She was pointing out different pictures in a "Franklin" book for me to tell her what they were.

When I called "Time to pick up the toys" he jumped right in and did a great job helping!
