Snack- Ginger Snaps,

Everyone seemed to be in good
moods and calm today. Suprising,
considering they haven't been out-
side much this week.
We talked about ovals, circles,
triangles, and the color green
while we made paper turtles.
The 4&5 year ols also worked on
the Tt sound and tracing Tt's.
We had storytime on the porch
again and read "Turtle at Long Pond.
They also got to watch the pet turtle
and touch it if they dared. Some
of them preferred to just watch it.

My best friend and I like to do everything the same. So we both bring our ladybugs to daycare and today we even wore the same color pants and shirt!

Snack- Parmesan Cheese Crackers, Apple Juice



We had a "beary" good day today! The 3-5's did a
color-by-letter bear worksheet and made mini-books
about bears and the letter B.
The 2 year olds made bears out of circles
and talked about circles and the color brown.
We had storytime on the porch this morning.
They all thought that was fun! We read
"Do Your ABC's Little Brown Bear" and
"My Favorite Bear".
After the stories we sang The Bear Went Over
The Mountain and did the
Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear rhyme.

Breakfast- Chopped Beef Gravy on Toast,
Cereal, Bananas, Milk

Lunch- Chicken Nuggets, Fried Potatoes,
Peas, Butter Bread, Milk

Snack- Pretzels, Cherry Juice



Today was a busy day with some
very active children.
Cabin fever setting in I think!
Time for the sun to shine so we
go outside again!
This morning we spent a lot
of time making very tall,
colorful ice cream cones
and working on colors,
number recognition
counting, and gluing.
We spent so much
time on those lunch
was ready before we
got to the story but
we were having fun.

Snack- Chocolate Chip Cookies, Milk
Today went real good in spite of the fact that we couldn't go outside because of the rain.
We all worked on colors, shapes, tracing, and gluing. The 4-5 year olds also practiced writing their names.
At storytime we read about ocean shapes, animals, and sang a couple songs.

Snack- Fig Bars, Milk

We had a fun, busy day today!
This morning the preschoolers worked on matching what goes together(hammer to nail, etc) and identifying 'Which one in different' in rows of pictures.
Afterwards we had a couple stories and songs. One song involved doing a little ASL.
Blowing bubbles outside was a lot of fun. The older children especially enjoyed blowing bubbles for some of the smaller children to pop.

Snack- Salsa and Cream Cheese Gourmet Snack Crackers and Grape Juice





Today was a good day!


This morning the 3-5 year olds worked on counting and 'who has more' worksheets. The children under 3 yrs old colored a picture.


After the worksheets we all went outside. Tag seemed to be "the game" for the 3-5 year olds this morning.
Lunch and nap all went well and after snack we headed back outside.
