Shaking the water to mix in the blue food coloring.

Putting shells in the "ocean".

Looking to see where the shells are going.

"Yay, I did it!"

Coloring B for beach ball.

"Hi turtle, whats your name?"

She finally dared touch the turtle today for the first time.

He's telling me a story about going to the beach.

Watching a helicopter fly over.

Breakfast- Scrambled Eggs, Toast, Orange Juice, Milk

Lunch-Beef Stroganoff, Corn, Applesause, Cheese Slices, Milk

Snack- A choice of Golden Oreos, Chocolate Chip Cookies, or Fig Bars, Milk

We had a normal, good day today. This morning we made an "ocean in a bottle".

They all thought that was pretty neat.

The 2 year olds colored the letter B for beach ball and the 3-5 year olds colored and traced the letter Bb for beach ball.

The 3-5 year olds also used foam alphabet beads to spell and string their name on a necklace then they added ocean themed foam beads around their name.

At storytime we read ""Sea Shapes" and sang "This is the Day","Waves at the Beach"(with hand motions), "Count Our Numbers", and Sing a Song of Numbers".
