Making "yellow stars"

Todays finished craft.

Our colored letter "S for star".

Bringing a ball to an 18 month old little girl(not pictured).

They thought they just had to have bubbles this morning.

He stuck his fingers in the bubbles than licked his fingers. Obviously it didn't taste good!

He's trying to tell his sister about the nasty bubbles in his mouth.

Nice smile!

Somebody in this group blew a big bubble!

She has a blade of grass between her thumbs and is trying to whistle with it.

Just relaxing and reading a book after lunch.

Breakfast- Cereal, Peaches, Milk
Lunch- Spaghetti w/Meatballs, Baby Limas, Applesauce, Cheese Slices, Milk
Snack- A choice of three different kinds of snack crackers, Apple Juice
Today we all talked about the star shape and the color yellow and sang "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" while we put together stars w/faces. The 2 year olds also colored a picture of a star while the 3-5 year olds did S worksheets and Matching Objects worksheets.
At storytime we read "Walt Disneys Mother Goose" and "The Sound Book"(the children loved making the sounds of all different kinds of things and animals and listening close to hear what sounds they could hear around them). We sang "This is The Day" and "The Vowel Song"(for the older ones but the younger children enjoyed it too).
Some of the two year olds thought they really needed bubbles when we went outside so bubbles were the big thing this morning.
