"I'm taking a bath!"

Hey, that looks like fun! Let me have a turn.

'Yep! Just as much fun as I thought it would be'!
She played in this box for half an hour this morning.

Looking for just the right crayon to right her name.

She must have found it.

Collecting all the red markers

This is so easy I'll just prop my chin on the table while I draw.

Waiting to catch bubbles in her hand.

He was trying to catch a bubble that had just floated by him and landed on the ground.

Aah! This is the life!

Can you get your bubble wand out?

'We all like blowing bubbles for the little one to pop'!
I don't know how this happened but I thought it was too cute to miss taking a picture of it! Back to back blowing bubbles.

We had a good Monday. Free play as usual to start out the morning.
The 4-5 year olds worked on their scissor skills this morning doing a color-cut-paste worksheet. They colored a duck that was in three pieces, cut out the pieces, then glued them together onto a piece of construction paper.
They also practiced writing thier names and worked in their "Matching What Goes Together" book. They had to look at rows of pictures with four pictures in each row and find the picture that was different.
The 2-3 year olds drew with markers and the younger than 2 year olds got the whole floor to themselves while all the other children were busy.
We had storytime outside this morning. We read "Hugs and Kisses" and talked about the sounds the animals make and read "Islands", sang "If Your Happy and You Know It" and "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus."
The highlight of being outside this morning was blowing bubbles.
